About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team and drive the design, implementation, and management of secure network infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Palo Alto Firewall technologies, network administration, and enterprise firewall management. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical delivery, solution design, operational excellence, stakeholder collaboration, and technical leadership to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available network environments.

What You'll Do:

- Design, implement, and manage secure network infrastructure solutions using Palo Alto Firewall technologies.
- Define scalable, resilient, and secure network architectures that align with business and security objectives.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and evaluate network security requirements, risks, and solution alternatives.
- Develop implementation strategies, network security controls, and operational standards.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Palo Alto Firewall policies,



security profiles, NAT rules, and VPN configurations.
- Support network administration activities including routing, switching, connectivity management, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams to ensure seamless integration of network security controls.
- Drive automation, configuration reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production readiness initiatives.
- Monitor network health, security incidents, and performance metrics to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and resolve complex network and firewall-related issues.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, compliance requirements, and governance standards.
- Support migration, upgrade, and transformation projects involving network security platforms.
- Create and maintain network architecture documentation, operational procedures, and technical runbooks.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices, reusable solutions, and technical standards.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 8 to 12 years of experience in Network Engineering with a strong focus on firewall deployment, migration, and support.
- Deep expertise in Palo Alto Firewall administration, deployment, configuration, and operational support.
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs).
- Strong knowledge of VPN technologies, NAT, routing protocols, traffic management, and enterprise security policies.
- Experience planning and executing firewall migration projects, cutovers, validation activities, and post-deployment support.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, routing concepts, switching technologies, and network architecture.
- Proven troubleshooting skills across firewall, routing, connectivity, performance, and security-related issues.
- Experience providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support within enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.
- Experience implementing network automation initiatives and operational efficiency improvements.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, segmentation, access control,



and threat prevention technologies.
- Experience coordinating with infrastructure, application, operations, and cybersecurity teams.
- Knowledge of cloud networking and cloud security best practices across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
- Familiarity with hybrid network architectures and cloud connectivity solutions.
- Experience with additional firewall technologies and enterprise network security platforms.
- Palo Alto certifications such as PCNSE or equivalent network security certifications are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Experience maintaining deployment documentation, operational procedures, and technical runbooks.
- Strong ownership mindset with focus on reliability, security, and operational excellence.
- Ability to lead complex network deployment and migration initiatives from planning through production support.
