Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams

- Lead and manage the Tooling & NPD team, including tool development, tool design, maintenance and project execution.

- Manage recent mould development, tool trials, validation, repair and preventive maintenance to ensure tool quality, uptime and timely delivery.

- Strongly focus on reducing tool breakdowns, MTTR and repeat breakdowns through effective preventive and predictive maintenance.

- Lead NPD projects from tool development to production, including project planning, costing, trial, validation and ramp-up.

- Manage APQP, PPAP, PSW and project documentation and ensure timely submission as per customer requirements.

- Coordinate tool transfer, pre-builds, pilot runs and production ramp-up with Project, Production, Quality and other functions.

- Monitor tool development cost, project cost and profitability, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer requirements and internal quality standards.

- Drive continuous improvement in Tool Room, tool life, cycle time, productivity and manufacturing process.
