Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Web, Mobile, and API applications within the banking domain.

Develop scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks from scratch using Java and relevant automation technologies.

Automate banking business scenarios covering customer onboarding, account management, fund transfers, payment processing, and transaction validation.

Develop and execute Web automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.

Develop and execute Mobile automation scripts using Appium, including execution on BrowserStack App Automate.

Design and execute API automation scripts using Rest Assured to validate banking services, payment flows, and business rules.

Perform functional, integration, regression, negative, and end-to-end automation testing across banking applications.

Execute automated regression suites as part of sprint and release cycles to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Analyze automation results, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development and testing teams to resolve defects.

Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and maintain automation reports, test data, and reusable framework components.





Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of automation practices and testing standards.

Required Skills & Experience hands-on experience in software test automation across Web, Mobile, and API applications.

Strong programming skills in Java, including object-oriented programming concepts and coding best practices.

Proven experience in developing automation frameworks from scratch.

Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver for Web application automation.

Experience with Maven, Git, and CI/CD integration for automated test execution.

Strong understanding of Banking & Financial Services processes, including core banking operations, payment flows, fund transfers, and transaction processing.

Experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of banking applications.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies, defect management, and test execution reporting.

Solid analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Serenity BDD experience is an added advantage, along with familiarity with Cucumber and BDD practices. flows
