About The Role

The Sr. HR Manager will lead MiniMines' corporate-level people function, building the policies, talent systems and culture that support a fast-growing cleantech company. The role partners with leadership and department heads to attract, develop and retain talent, and to keep the organization compliant, engaged and ready to scale.

What You Will Do

- Define and drive the corporate HR strategy, aligned with business goals and growth plans.
- Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding and succession planning across functions.
- Own HR policies, the employee handbook, and compliance with labour laws, POSH, PF, ESI and statutory requirements.
- Manage performance management, compensation and benefits, and annual appraisal and rewards cycles.
- Build the organization structure, role frameworks and learning and development programs.
- Lead employee engagement, culture, grievance handling and employee relations.
- Oversee payroll, HR operations, HRIS(keka software) and people analytics, and report key metrics to leadership.




- Coach managers and guide leadership on people decisions, restructuring and change management.

What we are looking for:
- Hands-on leadership across the full HR cycle, from hiring to exit, at a corporate level.
- Strong judgment, integrity, communication and stakeholder management with senior leadership.
- Commercial thinking and interest in building people systems for a technical, manufacturing-led business.

Must have skills
- 6–12 years in HR, with at least 3 years in a managerial role handling corporate or multi-function HR.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance and HR policy design.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and employee relations.
- Strong written and verbal English; excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Working knowledge of HRIS, payroll systems and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.

Positive to have:
- Experience in manufacturing, energy, or mining.
- Exposure to scaling a startup or growth-stage company, including setting up HR from the ground up.
- Experience with people analytics, ESOP / incentive design and HR automation tools.

Education
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent), with 6–10 years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel occasionally between company sites, and for HR conferences and leadership meetings.
