Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Export Executive / Export Manager to manage export sales activities and end-to-end export documentation. The candidate will be responsible for handling international customer inquiries, developing export business, coordinating with customers and logistics partners, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of all export-related documentation and shipment formalities.

Key Responsibilities1. Export Sales & Business Development

- Handle export sales inquiries, quotations, order processing, and customer follow-ups.
- Develop new international customers and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and distributors.
- Identify new export markets and business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
- Prepare and negotiate quotations, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order execution, production planning, and timely dispatches.
- Follow up on pending orders, payments, and customer requirements.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare periodic export sales reports.

2. Export Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and verify export documents, including:
- Commercial Invoice and Packing List
- Proforma Invoice and Purchase Order
- Shipping Bill and Bill of Lading / Airway Bill




- Certificate of Origin and other applicable certificates
- Letter of Credit (LC) documents, wherever applicable
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers (CHAs), shipping lines, and transporters.
- Manage shipment bookings, customs clearance, and dispatch coordination.
- Ensure compliance with applicable export regulations, customs procedures, and foreign trade requirements.
- Coordinate with banks for export documentation, payment realization, and other banking formalities.
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to international customers.
- Maintain accurate export records and documentation for audits and statutory requirements.

3. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with production, accounts, logistics, and dispatch teams for smooth order execution.
- Ensure timely submission of shipping documents and customer-specific documentation.
- Monitor export order status, shipment schedules, and outstanding payments.
- Prepare MIS reports for export sales, shipments, receivables, and business development.
- Resolve customer queries and shipment-related issues promptly.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in export sales and export documentation.




- Good knowledge of export procedures, customs clearance, Incoterms, and international trade documentation.
- Experience in dealing with international customers and freight forwarders.
- Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP systems.
- Positive written and spoken English.

Experience
- Senior Export Executive: 3–6 years of relevant experience.
- Export Manager: 6–10 years of relevant experience, preferably with experience handling export sales independently.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Should be capable of independently managing both export sales and documentation.
- Should have a proactive approach to customer acquisition and business development.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple shipments and customer accounts simultaneously.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial products will be an added advantage.
