Position Title: Senior Engineer Construction

Location: Mumbai (Project Sites)

Experience: Minimum 10 - 12 years in Real Estate Construction

Role Overview The Senior Engineer will lead the site execution and construction management activities for the assigned projects. The role ensures that construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, cost parameters and timelines. The incumbent will coordinate site teams, contractors, vendors and consultants to achieve smooth and effective project progress while enforcing safety, quality and compliance protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution and Construction Management

- Lead day-to-day construction execution across all civil, structural and finishing works.
- Ensure adherence to approved GFC drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and construction methodologies.
- Coordinate sequencing of work fronts, resource deployment and contractor workloads to maintain execution momentum.
- Anticipate and resolve technical issues, site constraints, and interface challenges across disciplines.

Planning & Scheduling

- Develop micro-level project schedules (weekly/monthly) aligned with master project timelines.
- Track daily execution progress and review against planned targets.
- Highlight delays, identify root causes, and drive corrective action plans in coordination with Operations Head.

Coordination with Consultants & Stakeholders

- Interface with structural, architectural, MEP and faade consultants for technical clarifications, design confirmations and site inspections.
- Coordinate with the Liaison/Approval team to ensure compliance with regulatory conditions.
- Maintain professional communication and documentation of design changes and site decisions.

Contractor & Vendor Management

- Supervise contractor mobilization, performance, productivity and adherence to construction standards.
- Ensure work certification,



measurement checks and reconciliation of quantities.
- Review manpower and material deployment to ensure optimal utilization.
- Coordinate with Procurement team to order materials in sync with the execution schedule
- Support Operations Head in contract administration and variation management.

Quality Assurance & Safety Compliance

- Implement QA/QC processes including inspection, material testing and approved checklists.
- Monitor workmanship and enforce remedial action for quality deviations.
- Ensure strict adherence to site safety protocols, PPE usage, hazard control measures and statutory EHS norms.
- Conduct toolbox talks, site safety walks and compliance reviews.

Cost & Resource Control

- Monitor material consumption and wastage; ensure disciplined inventory controls.
- Validate contractor bills and track cost against budget benchmarks.
- Recommend value engineering alternatives for cost, material or time optimization.

Handover & Closeout

- Drive finishing stage coordination, snag identification and closure.
- Support QA, CRM and Sales teams for possession readiness.
- Ensure documentation of as-built drawings, maintenance manuals, and statutory clearances.

Team Leadership

- Lead and mentor site engineers, supervisors, safety officers and quality teams.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and skill enhancement training.
- Promote a culture of accountability, discipline, safety and continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 1012+ years of site execution experience in real estate development with at least 4 projects completed.
- Must have successfully led execution of high-rise residential towers.
- Strong technical understanding of construction sequencing, structural systems, concrete works, MEP interfaces and finishing.
- Proven ability to manage large contractor teams and fast-paced urban construction environments.
- Excellent planning, communication and problem-resolution capabilities.
