Role - Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Sift Timing - 6pm to 3am IST (Night Shift)

Working days Monday to Friday

Location- Remote (Work From Home)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support large-scale Utility-Scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects for the US market.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead electrical design from conceptual stage to detailed/IFC engineering.
- Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), electrical layouts, cable sizing, and electrical calculations.
- Design/review AC/DC systems, MV collection systems, substations, transformers, and switchgear.
- Support grid interconnection, protection coordination, and technical design reviews.
- Ensure compliance with US electrical codes and standards, including NEC, IEEE, and applicable utility requirements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, US clients,



consultants, and EPC contractors.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 815 years of experience in electrical design and engineering.
- Strong preference for hands-on US utility-scale Solar PV / BESS project experience.
- Experience with large-scale projects measured in MW/GW capacity.
- Knowledge of US electrical codes, grid interconnection, and power systems.
- Proficiency in ETAP, SKM PowerTools, EasyPower, AutoCAD, or equivalent tools.
- Robust technical communication and coordination skills.

Preferred: Experience with US-based EPCs, engineering consultancies, substations, and renewable energy projects..
