About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Modeler with expertise in Databricks Lakehouse architecture, cloud data platforms, and Oracle workload migrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, governed, and business-aligned data models that support enterprise analytics, AI/ML initiatives, and cloud modernization programs. You will work closely with Data Engineering, Architecture, Analytics, Governance, and Business teams to build modern data platforms that enable trusted, high-quality, and AI-ready data assets.

What You'll Do:

- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise-scale data platforms.
- Implement and optimize data models within Databricks Delta Lake and Lakehouse environments.
- Design scalable data architectures that support analytics, reporting, operational, and AI/ML workloads.
- Define and maintain metadata standards, data lineage, data dictionaries,



and governance frameworks.
- Support migration of databases, applications, and analytical workloads from Oracle environments to cloud-native data platforms.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to design efficient ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data integration solutions.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, security, compliance, and governance across enterprise data assets.
- Partner with analytics and AI/ML teams to build data models that support advanced analytics, feature engineering, and machine learning initiatives.
- Develop strategies for master data management, metadata management, and enterprise data governance.
- Create and maintain enterprise data standards, modeling guidelines, and best practices.
- Participate in architecture reviews and recommend improvements for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Support regulatory and compliance requirements for highly governed industries.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Contribute to cloud modernization and digital transformation initiatives across the organization.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 7-10 years of experience in Data Modeling, Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, or Enterprise Data Management.
- Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling techniques.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Lakehouse architecture.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data models for analytics and reporting platforms.
- Strong knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, data governance, and data stewardship practices.
- Experience supporting Oracle-to-Cloud migration programs and modern data platform transformations.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, star schemas,



and snowflake schemas.
- Experience working with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory, dbt, Informatica, Fivetran, or similar technologies.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale structured and semi-structured datasets.
- Understanding of data quality, security, regulatory compliance, and governance frameworks.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Architects, Data Scientists, and Business Stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
