Summary Looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale data solutions on Azure. The role focuses on building scalable and high-performance data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, Python, SQL, and Delta Lake.

Location India (or remote/flexible based on standard placements)

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL.
- Build batch and near real-time data processing solutions using Databricks Workflows, Auto Loader, Delta Lake, and Delta Live Tables.
- Implement Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture patterns including Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
- Perform data modeling, data transformation, cleansing, validation, and preparation of data for analytics and reporting.
- Work with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestration, Azure DevOps for CI/CD, and Unity Catalog for data governance.

Requirements

- 7-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, with strong hands-on experience in cloud data platforms.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, PySpark, Python, SQL, and Delta Lake.
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Key Vault, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong knowledge of Spark performance tuning, partitioning, cluster sizing, workload optimization, and cost management.




- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
