Role: Senior Big Data Engineer

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: 6 months+

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Location: Hybrid in Hyderabad, India We're looking for a highly hands-on Senior Big Data Engineer with deep experience building and supporting large-scale AWS data platforms.

- Lambda, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, MSK
- Parquet, ORC, Avro, Iceberg, Hudi, Delta Lake
- Data lakes, lakehouse/medallion architectures, dimensional modeling
- Batch and CDC ingestion
- Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation, CI/CD, Git, Docker
- Production reliability, observability, data quality, cost and performance optimization
- Experience operating at multi-terabyte scale

This individual must be able to lead architecture and design decisions, conduct code reviews, partner with engineering teams, and remain deeply hands-on with development and production delivery.

Bachelor's/Master's degree and AWS certifications are strong pluses.
