Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior Backend Developer with solid Node.js and Next.js experience to build secure, scalable backend services for AI-enabled and enterprise applications. The role includes API development, database optimisation, system performance and mentoring developers.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs using Node.js.
- Build services using Express, NestJS or similar frameworks.
- Develop Next.js API routes, server-side rendering, incremental static regeneration and middleware.
- Design and optimise PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis data stores.
- Manage database migrations, indexing and query performance.
- Implement JWT, OAuth2, role-based access control and input validation.
- Integrate third-party platforms and internal AI/ML services.
- Build webhook, message queue and event-driven workflows.
- Improve performance through profiling, caching,



rate limiting and service scaling.
- Write tested, documented code and conduct code reviews.
- Collaborate on containerised deployments, CI/CD and service monitoring.
- Mentor developers and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of backend development experience, including 5+ years of production Node.js.
- Strong hands-on Next.js experience in production.
- Expertise in TypeScript, asynchronous programming and API design.
- Strong PostgreSQL skills and experience with at least one NoSQL database.
- Experience with microservices or modular monoliths, message queues and Redis caching.
- Knowledge of OWASP security practices, unit/integration testing and Git workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills
- Experience handling sensitive healthcare or financial data.
- AI/LLM API integrations, vector databases or chatbot backends.
- Docker, Kubernetes and a major cloud platform.
- Strong system design skills or open-source contributions.

Pay: ₹1,038,000.00 - ₹2,040,000.00 per year
