Job Summary

Evalueserve is seeking a Senior Analyst Patent Drafting with solid experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications for US and Indian jurisdictions. The role involves analyzing invention disclosures, assessing patentability, conducting prior-art searches, drafting high-quality patent applications and office action responses, and supporting clients throughout the patent lifecycle. The candidate will also play a key role in reviewing deliverables, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring technical excellence and compliance with patent office requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze invention disclosures across various Hitech domains and assess the novelty and inventive merits of inventions.
- Conduct inventor interviews to gather technical details and understand the commercial and technical significance of inventions.
- Perform prior-art analysis to evaluate patentability and identify distinguishing features of inventions.
- Draft complete patent applications for US and Indian jurisdictions, including specifications, claims, abstracts, drawings, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure patent applications are technically accurate, strategically aligned, and compliant with relevant patent laws and regulations.
- Review patent applications prepared by junior team members and provide constructive feedback to enhance quality and consistency.
- Support inventors and clients in strengthening patent protection strategies and claim coverage.

Required Qualifications

- 36 years of experience in Patent Drafting, Patent Prosecution, and Patent Search within the Intellectual Property domain.
- Strong understanding of patent laws, patentability requirements, and prosecution procedures in the US and Indian jurisdictions.
- Proven experience drafting patent applications, claims, specifications, and office action responses.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand complex mechanical inventions and technologies.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent knowledge of patent databases,



patent search methodologies, and IP research tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

- Location: In-office, Gurgaon
- Masters (B.E/M.Tech.) in Computer Science
- Any Diploma in Intellectual Property will be an add on
