About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior AI / GenAI Architect with strong expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). The ideal candidate must have a strong Java backend development background and hands-on experience building and integrating enterprise-grade AI solutions using Azure AI services and modern AI orchestration frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect scalable, enterprise-grade AI and Generative AI solutions.
- Develop and implement Agentic AI, multi-agent systems, LLM-based applications, and RAG architectures.
- Build and integrate AI capabilities into Java-based backend applications using Spring AI.
- Leverage Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI Services to develop and deploy AI-powered solutions.
- Implement AI orchestration workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, and related frameworks.
- Define AI architecture, security, governance, scalability, and deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive performance optimization, monitoring, responsible AI practices,



and enterprise AI standards.

- Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

- 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong enterprise application development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java backend development.
- Expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, and RAG.
- Experience with Spring AI and the Java ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry and/or Azure OpenAI Services.
- Working knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, and CrewAI.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with AI application integration and enterprise-scale solution implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes deployments.
- Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, and AI orchestration.
- Exposure to MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD pipelines, AI observability, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience working with global stakeholders and distributed teams.

Important Travel Requirement The selected candidate must be willing to travel to Mauritius and stay onsite for the initial one-month training period. Candidates should be comfortable with this travel and stay requirement before applying.
