Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations for TruColors’ manufacturing and merchandising activities.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, managing payables and receivables, and ensuring accurate inventory and cost accounting. The role will also involve overseeing statutory compliance, supporting audits, and implementing internal controls to maintain financial integrity.

Accountant will collaborate with management to provide financial analysis, budgeting support, and data-driven insights for decision-making. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in general accounting, including ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, variance analysis, and cash flow management.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and manufacturing-related financial processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets; comfort working with ERP or similar systems.
- Understanding of local statutory compliance, taxation, and audit support requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or apparel/retail environment is preferred.
