Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who can independently manage the complete accounting and finance operations for multiple group companies. This role requires someone who can take ownership of accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, banking, and audits with minimal supervision. You will work closely with the management team to ensure the company's financial records are accurate, compliant, and always audit-ready.

This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership and building efficient financial processes.

Accounting & Financial Operations

Own the complete accounting function for multiple group companies and ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and up to date. You will be responsible for:

- Maintaining complete books of accounts in Zoho Books.
- Recording and verifying all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Managing the General Ledger and ensuring all accounts are reconciled regularly.
- Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance Take complete ownership of statutory compliance and ensure all filings and tax obligations are completed accurately and within prescribed timelines. You will be responsible for:

- Preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.
- Calculating, deducting, depositing, and filing TDS returns.
- Managing TCS, Skilled Tax, Advance Tax, and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Reconciling GST data with books and government portals.
- Coordinating with tax consultants for Income Tax assessments and notices.
- Ensuring timely ROC and MCA filings in coordination with the Company Secretary.

Financial Reporting & Management Information (MIS)



Provide management with timely and accurate financial information to support business decisions.

You will be responsible for preparing:

- Monthly MIS reports.
- Profit & Loss Statements.
- Balance Sheets.
- Cash Flow Reports.
- Customer Outstanding Reports.
- Vendor Payable Reports.
- Bank Position Reports.
- GST Summary Reports.

Banking & Treasury Management Manage day-to-day banking activities and maintain effective control over cash flow.

You will be responsible for:

- Monitoring daily cash inflows and outflows.
- Performing bank reconciliations.
- Coordinating with banks for account operations and documentation
- Supporting banking facilities such as Cash Credit (CC), Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees, and other working capital arrangements.

Audit Coordination & Financial Controls Ensure the company remains audit-ready throughout the year by maintaining accurate records and strong financial controls.

- Coordinating with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants.
- Preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents required during audits.
- Resolving audit observations and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintaining proper accounting controls to reduce financial and compliance risks.
- Ensuring all financial records are complete, organized, and readily available for verification.

Preferred candidate profile

- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in accounting, preferably handling finances for multiple companies or similar entities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, PT, advance tax, and private limited company compliances.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
