Role Overview

Cognoverse Technologies is seeking a business-focused SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant with approximately 5 years of experience to drive a critical SAP S/4HANA migration project. In this role, you will act as the key liaison between the procurement and inventory teams and the project team, ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems to S/4HANA. Your primary objective will be to safeguard business continuity, map procurement and inventory processes to the current system, and ensure that the migration delivers tangible business value and optimized procurement and inventory operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Migration Strategy & Business Continuity: Lead the MM data migration strategy, ensuring zero disruption to daily procurement and inventory operations, reporting, and compliance during the transition to S/4HANA.
- Process Mapping & Optimization: Partner with core procurement and inventory stakeholders to evaluate current workflows, identify process gaps, and design optimized, future-ready procure-to-pay processes within the new system.
- MM Workflow Design: Guide the setup of core MM processesincluding material master data, purchasing, inventory management, and invoice verification—to align with corporate business strategies rather than just technical system requirements.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Ensure that MM processes integrate smoothly with broader business operations (such as finance, sales,



maintenance, and quality management), coordinating with Plant Maintenance (PM) and Quality Management (QM) teams where relevant, to maintain accurate and unified corporate reporting.
- Business Validation & Testing: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) from a business perspective, ensuring the migrated system meets all procurement and inventory compliance, reporting, and operational standards before go-live.
- Change Management & Adoption: Provide hands-on support and training to the procurement and inventory teams post-migration, driving high user adoption and swiftly resolving any business-critical issues during the hyper-care period.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Experience: Approximately 5 years of professional experience in SAP MM consulting, with direct involvement in end-to-end system migrations or transitions to S/4HANA. Exposure to other modules such as Plant Maintenance (PM) and Quality Management (QM), including relevant cross-functional processes, is required.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of procurement, inventory management, and related reporting requirements, with a proven ability to translate complex business needs into actionable project goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to confidently present strategies and updates to business leaders and procurement and supply chain executives.
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Strong capability to anticipate business risks associated with system migrations and proactively design solutions to mitigate them.
