- As an SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) with ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions within the SAP MDG framework with a focus on ABAP development

- This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, understanding master data requirements, and customizing SAP MDG to ensure data quality, consistency, and governance

Key Responsibilities

- Requirements Analysis:Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze master data governance requirements

- Understand business processes related to master data management

- SAP MDG Customization:Customize and configure SAP MDG to meet organizational master data governance needs

- Develop and enhance data models, UIs, workflows, and validations within the SAP MDG framework

- ABAP Development:Write custom ABAP code to extend and enhance SAP MDG functionalities





- Develop and implement enhancements to support specific master data processes

- Data Models and UIs:Design and optimize data models and user interfaces within SAP MDG

- Ensure data consistency and integrity across the organization

- Workflow Development:Design and implement workflows within SAP MDG to facilitate the approval and validation of master data changes

- Customize workflow templates to align with business processes

- Integration with SAP and Non-SAP Systems:Ensure seamless integration between SAP MDG and other SAP modules, as well as external systems

- Develop interfaces and integrations to maintain data consistency

- Data Quality and Governance:Implement data quality checks and validations to enforce data governance policies

- Collaborate with data stewards to define and enforce data quality standards

- User Training:Provide training to end-users and data stewards on utilizing SAP MDG for master data governance

- Create training materials and documentation

- Performance Optimization:Optimize the performance of SAP MDG configurations and customizations

- Conduct performance testing and tuning as needed

- Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization within SAP MDG

- Stay informed about SAP MDG updates and industry best practices
