Role & responsibilities

Lead functional design for supplier and Business Partner governance, including Procurement Tool supplier-portal workflow adjustments, data-quality rules, approval processes and integration with downstream SAP procurement processes.

Experience

812 years in SAP master data/procurement, including 4+ years in SAP MDG Supplier/Business Partner and end-to-end implementation experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Own functional design for supplier/BP governance and change-request processes.
- Define workflow stages, approvals, field controls, validations, derivations and data-quality rules.
- Assess Procurement Tool supplier-portal workflow requirements and translate them into scalable MDG process changes.
- Define supplier/BP data standards, mandatory attributes, duplicate-checking and governance controls.
- Coordinate integration requirements across MDG, S/4HANA/ECC, procurement and external supplier platforms.
- Lead functional testing, UAT, defect triage, cutover and post-go-live stabilization.
- Work with technical teams on BRFplus rules, workflow, replication and enhancements.
- Provide governance documentation,



process training and stakeholder alignment.

Required SAP / Technical Skills
- Strong SAP MDG-S / Business Partner functional experience.
- Deep understanding of supplier master, BP roles, purchasing/company-code data and governance processes.
- Knowledge of MDG change requests, workflow, validations/derivations, duplicate checks and data quality.
- Good understanding of BP/CVI and supplier integration with SAP MM/P2P.
- Experience defining functional requirements for interfaces and supplier portals.
- Strong business-process, stakeholder-management and UAT leadership skills.

Preferred / Good to Have
- SAP MDG certification.
- SAP Ariba supplier/procurement exposure.
- Experience with global supplier onboarding and master-data governance programs.

Behavioral Competencies Solid analytical thinking, ownership, clear communication, collaboration across business and technical teams, and ability to work independently in a delivery/support environment.
