Job Title : SAP CORE ABAP

Description

3 years of ABAP development experience, including at least 1-2 full-lifecycle SAP implementations, with at least one engagement in a Technical/ABAP Lead capacity.

Strong hands-on expertise across the full RICEFW spectrum — Reports, Interfaces (IDoc/BAPI/Proxy), Conversions (LSMW/BDC), Enhancements (BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework), Forms (SmartForms/Adobe Forms), and Workflow.

Proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP (ABAP OO) and up-to-date S/4HANA development: CDS Views, AMDP, ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

Experience developing and consuming OData services (v2/v4) and SAP Gateway for Fiori/UI5 app enablement.

Working knowledge of SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) or SAP PI/PO for interface design, monitoring and troubleshooting.





Solid technical exposure to at least one of FI-CO, MM or Treasury (TRM) modules from an ABAP/technical delivery standpoint.

Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA RISE / Private Cloud clean-core and extensibility guidelines (side-by-side and in-app extensibility).

Experience estimating and sizing RICEFW objects by complexity and managing delivery against a sprint-based Realize phase.

Strong debugging, performance tuning (SQL trace, ABAP Code Inspector, ST05) and troubleshooting capability.

Working knowledge of transport management and coordination with BASIS/Security across a multi-system landscape
