- As an SAP Basis HANA Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of SAP systems, with a specific focus on SAP HANA

- Your role involves managing the SAP Basis components, ensuring system reliability, performance optimization, and adherence to security standards

- You will work closely with SAP functional teams, technical teams, and stakeholders to support SAP projects and ensure the smooth operation of SAP landscapes

Key Responsibilities

- SAP HANA Administration:Install, configure, and maintain SAP HANA databases, including system upgrades and patches

- Monitor and optimize the performance of SAP HANA systems

- SAP Basis Administration:Perform installations, upgrades, and migrations of SAP systems (ECC, BW, PI, etc)

- Manage SAP system landscapes, instances, and clients

- Security and Authorization:Implement and maintain SAP security policies and user access controls

- Conduct regular security audits and address vulnerabilities





- Backup and Recovery:Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems, including HANA databases

- Ensure data consistency and integrity through regular backup testing

- Performance Tuning:Monitor system performance and undertake tuning activities for optimal SAP performance

- Collaborate with other teams to address and resolve performance issues

- Transport Management:Manage SAP transport landscape, including the setup and configuration of transport routes

- Coordinate and execute system transports

- Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP Basis and HANA configurations, processes, and procedures

- Prepare technical documentation for system changes and upgrades

- User Support and Training:Provide support to end-users and resolve SAP-related issues

- Conduct training sessions for SAP users on basic system functions

- SAP Upgrades and Patching:Plan and execute SAP system upgrades and apply patches as necessary

- Stay informed about the latest SAP releases and features
