Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage ABAP support team for AMS projects

- Design and implement technical solutions using ABAP/SAP Fiori/UI5/Odata

- Handle incident, problem, and change management (L1/L2/L3 support)

- Ensure SLA adherence and timely resolution of tickets

- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes

- Review and approve technical designs, code, and developments

- Drive enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows

- Coordinate with functional consultants (MM, SD, FICO, etc.)

- Manage transport requests and deployment across landscapes

- Monitor system performance and optimize ABAP programs

- Ensure proper documentation and knowledge management

- Participate in client meetings and provide regular status updates

Skills and Qualifications

- Robust hands-on experience in Core ABAP (RICEF objects)

- Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience in ABAP/Fiori/ODATA Development work

- Expertise in:





- Reports (Classical ALV)

- Interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services)

- Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework)

- Forms (SmartForms / Adobe Forms / SAP Scripts)

- Experience in OOPS ABAP

- Knowledge of Performance Tuning (SQL Trace, Runtime Analysis)

- Experience with SAP Workflow

- Exposure to S/4HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, Code Pushdown) is preferred

Preferences

- SAP ABAP certification (added advantage)

- ITIL certification is a plus

- Experience in global AMS delivery model
