Role overview

We are hiring a Sales Executive to drive solar sales across Pune’s industrial belt. The role focuses on prospecting and building a strong pipeline, then taking clients from first contact to signed project, with support from the leadership team.

Key responsibilities

- Prospect factories, commercial buildings, hospitals and hotels across PCMC, Bhosari, Chakan and nearby industrial areas
- Make a high volume of daily calls, and carry out field visits and walk-ins
- Follow up on all leads until they are closed
- Visit client sites, collect electricity bills and site details, and share them with the internal team for proposals
- Explain solar savings to clients in explicit, simple terms
- Present proposals, negotiate terms and work with the CEO to close deals
- Sell maintenance (AMC) contracts to existing solar clients,



once this offering is launched
- Update the CRM daily with leads, meetings and follow-ups
- Represent the company at industry associations and events

Requirements

- A graduate degree in any discipline
- 2–5 years of sales experience, with at least 1 year in solar
- A strong track record in prospecting and field sales
- Able to read a commercial electricity bill and explain solar savings
- Fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi
- Own two-wheeler and a valid driving licence

Preferred

- Living in or near the PCMC area
- An existing network among industrial and commercial businesses in Pune
- Experience in C&I; (commercial and industrial) sales
