We are seeking an experienced Sage 300 ERP Consultant to manage, support, optimize, and enhance enterprise ERP applications. The ideal candidate should have robust functional and technical knowledge of Sage 300 ERP, including financial management, inventory, purchasing, order management, reporting, and system integrations.

The consultant will work remotely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth ERP operations, troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and support business process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sage 300 ERP Administration Support

- Provide functional and technical support for Sage 300 ERP applications.
- Manage system configurations, user access, permissions, and application settings.
- Troubleshoot application errors, performance issues, and integration failures.
- Support system upgrades, patches, maintenance, and enhancements.
- Ensure application availability, reliability, and operational efficiency.

2. Functional Consulting Business Process Management

- Work with business stakeholders to understand ERP requirements and operational challenges.
- Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements.
- Configure and support Sage 300 modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Inventory Control (IC)
- Purchase Orders (PO)
- Order Entry (OE)
- Bank Services
- Project and Job Costing

- Support financial reconciliation, reporting, and month-end/year-end closing activities.

3. ERP Integration Data Management

- Support integrations between Sage 300 and third-party enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with technical teams on integration requirements, data mapping, and interface troubleshooting.




- Assist with data migration, validation, and reconciliation.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for reporting and troubleshooting.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across integrated applications.

4. Reporting Customization

- Develop and maintain operational and financial reports.
- Work with Sage Intelligence Reporting, Crystal Reports, and SQL-based reporting tools.
- Identify opportunities for workflow automation and process optimization.
- Coordinate customizations and enhancements based on business requirements.

5. Implementation Continuous Improvement

- Participate in Sage 300 implementation, enhancement, and upgrade projects.
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions and gap analysis.
- Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and user guides.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution, and deployment.
- Provide end-user training and post-implementation support.

Required Skills Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of ERP consulting or application support experience, including substantial hands-on Sage 300 experience.
- Strong understanding of Sage 300 ERP architecture, configuration, and core modules.
- Experience supporting financial, procurement, inventory, and order management processes.




- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL queries.
- Experience with ERP implementation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Understanding of enterprise application integrations and data migration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams.

Preferred Skills
- Experience integrating Sage 300 with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or other enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of Sage 300 Web Screens and related technologies.
- Experience with Crystal Reports and Sage Intelligence.
- Familiarity with APIs, integration middleware, and automation tools.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-entity business environments.
- Exposure to ERP modernization, system consolidation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with international clients and geographically distributed teams.
