Role overview

We are looking for a dedicated Safety Officer to ensure a safe working environment at our site. You will implement safety policies, carry out inspections, and promote a robust safety culture among workers and staff.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct daily site inspections and identify hazards and unsafe practices
- Enforce company safety policies and statutory requirements
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions and training sessions
- Investigate incidents and near misses, and prepare reports with corrective actions
- Ensure workers use PPE correctly and that safety equipment is in working condition
- Maintain safety records, permits to work and audit documentation
- Coordinate emergency preparedness, fire drills and first aid arrangements

Qualifications and requirements





- Diploma or degree in Industrial Safety, or a recognised safety certification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent)
- Knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment and incident reporting
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to work on site
