Perform advanced performance tuning| query optimization| indexing strategy| and capacity planning across both relational and document-based data layers.
Build and manage robust backup| point-in-time recovery (PITR)| failover| and disaster recovery (DR) strategies to guarantee strict RPO/RTO targets. Implement proactive monitoring| telemetry| and automated alerting to troubleshoot bottlenecks and participate in on-call rotations to maintain five-nine reliability.
Solid knowledge of database replication| clustering| connection management| security| patching| upgrades and lifecycle management.
Hands-on scripting and automation experience using Python| Shell or equivalent tools for repeatable database operations. Ability to diagnose complex production incidents| perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions. Good understanding of Linux/Unix| cloud infrastructure| networking| storage and containerized production environments.
