Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused and energetic Restaurant Captain to oversee daily restaurant service operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing the service team, ensuring excellent guest experiences, maintaining service standards, and coordinating with the kitchen to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome guests, assist with seating, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of waiters, stewards, and service staff.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service.
- Explain menu items, daily specials, and promotions to guests.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team regarding orders, special requests, and dietary requirements.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.
- Ensure tables, dining areas, and service stations are clean and properly maintained.
- Monitor service quality and ensure compliance with restaurant hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist with billing, payments, and order accuracy where required.
- Train and guide junior service staff on restaurant SOPs and service etiquette.




- Support inventory monitoring and report shortages of service supplies.
- Assist the restaurant manager with shift planning and daily operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in restaurant or hotel food and beverage service.
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Captain, Senior Steward, or Team Leader is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Ability to lead a team and work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and billing procedures.
- Professional grooming and a customer-oriented attitude.

Working Conditions

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
