Fortis Healthcare Ltd is looking for Resident - Neurosurgery to join our agile team and embark on a rewarding career journey

1. Assist in the evaluation and management of patients with neurosurgical conditions, including brain tumors, spinal disorders, cerebrovascular diseases, and traumatic brain injuries.

2. Participate in surgical procedures under the supervision of attending neurosurgeons, including craniotomies, spinal fusions, stereotactic procedures, and minimally invasive techniques.

3. Perform preoperative assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and review of imaging studies, to develop surgical plans and optimize patient outcomes.

4. Monitor patients in the perioperative period, including in the intensive care unit (ICU) and step-down units, and manage postoperative complications as needed.

5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams,



including neurologists, neuroradiologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex neurological disorders.

6. Participate in academic activities, including case conferences, journal clubs, and grand rounds, to enhance medical knowledge and surgical skills.

7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including progress notes, operative reports, and discharge summaries, in compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.

8. Engage in research projects and scholarly activities in the field of neurosurgery, including data collection, analysis, and manuscript preparation.
