Role Description The Research and Development Manager will lead R&D; activities focused on new and existing animal healthcare formulations in an on-site role based in Roorkee. This full-time position involves planning and overseeing laboratory experiments, coordinating formulation development, and ensuring that research projects align with regulatory and quality standards.

The role includes managing an R&D; team, guiding protocol development, reviewing data, and preparing technical reports and documentation. The manager will collaborate with production, quality assurance, and regulatory teams to support technology transfer, process optimization, and product scale-up.



Additional responsibilities include monitoring industry trends, identifying innovation opportunities, maintaining compliance with safety standards, and contributing to strategic decisions on the product pipeline.

Qualifications

- Strong background in pharmaceutical or veterinary sciences, preferably with a master’s degree or higher in Pharmacy, Veterinary Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience in formulation development, analytical methods, and laboratory experimentation within pharmaceutical or animal health sectors.
- Proven ability to lead and manage R&D; teams, including project planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality systems, and documentation practices relevant to animal healthcare products.
- Ability to interpret scientific data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and commitment to laboratory safety and compliance.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams on-site.
- Prior experience in veterinary pharmaceutical product development or animal health research is highly desirable.
