The role entails assisting the Senior Fund Management team by performing fundamental industry and company level analysis in the Investment Universe tracked by the organization.

JOB ROLE :

1. ` The candidate should have the Capabilities in financial statement analysis, understanding of company s fundamentals in terms of nature of its business, growth dynamics, cost structure, and competitive positioning. `
2. ` The candidate should have a valuable understanding of industry structure, its growth profitability drivers, competitiveness levels and linkages to GDP movements. `
3. ` Should have capabilities in the area of investment appraisal, valuation techniques and theories about portfolio management. `
4. ` Should be willing to work hard in diverse areas, having an analytical frame of mind and orientation to synthesize disparate information and create action points that are of winning nature. `
5. ` Should have ability to read and absorb acknowledged research papers and testing their assertions / findings using quantitative models. `
6. ` Should have fine people skills,



ability to get along with others and should bring positive orientation and energy to work. `
7. ` Candidate would be responsible for developing quantitative information making models that assist the fund management team in making investment decisions. `
8. ` The Candidate will be responsible for covering companies and writing brief analysis for the companies mentioned in the investment universe of Axis AMC. `

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE A) Graduate/PG from from leading educational institutions in India or abroad.

B) Candidate from IIT /IIM along with certification from the CFA Institute, USA - Chartered Financial Analyst will be an added advantage.

C) Candidate is expected minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Experience in the range of 3-6 years will be ideal.

SKILLS REQUIRED

1) Proficiency in financial, mathematical and statistical techniques are prerequisites.

2) Should have advanced excel-based modelling skills.

1. Should be continuously involved in evolving system and process within the team to benefit the organization.
2. The candidate should have advanced skills in Investment Management, Company and Industry research.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES 1)Should be a good team player. Intellectually curious and result oriented.

2)Should be fluent when it comes to writing and should be a computer savvy.

3)Should have the ability to work independently.

4)Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including the ability to create dashboards. Interpreting and explain figures and charts.
