The Role

We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to drive the growth of TheCloudTree HRMS across Maharashtra and Gujarat, covering both Tier-1 and Tier-2 markets.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on B2B technology/SaaS sales qualified with a proven track record of new customer acquisition, consultative selling and closing IT product deals. Prior experience selling HRMS / HCM / Payroll / ERP / Workforce Management solutions will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Own sales and revenue growth for the assigned region.
- Identify, prospect and acquire new customers across Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets.
- Develop relationships with HR Heads, CHROs, CFOs, CEOs, Founders and IT Heads.
- Conduct discovery meetings, product presentations and solution demonstrations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle Lead Discovery Demo Proposal Negotiation Closure.
- Develop the market through direct prospecting, networking, referrals, events and strategic partnerships.
- Understand customer HR/payroll challenges and position TheCloudTree as a business solution rather than simply a software product.
- Track market trends, competitors and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and reporting.




- Work closely with pre-sales, implementation and customer success teams to ensure smooth customer handover.
- Identify opportunities for cross-sell, up-sell and account expansion.

Candidate Profile

Must Have:

- 812 years of overall experience with at least 5 years in B2B IT Product / SaaS / Enterprise Software Sales.
- Proven track record of new business acquisition and revenue generation.
- Strong understanding/network of the business market in Maharashtra and/or Gujarat.
- Experience selling to mid-market / enterprise customers.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation and closing skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship-management skills.

Preferred:

- Experience selling HRMS / HCM / Payroll / ERP / Workforce Management products.
- Existing network among HR, Finance, IT and CXO-level decision-makers.
- Experience selling cloud/SaaS products.
- Good understanding of AI and its practical applications in HR / business software. The candidate need not be an AI technical expert but should be comfortable understanding, discussing and selling AI-enabled product capabilities.
