Real Estate Fund Controller 10+ Years – Pune

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Fund Controller to oversee fund accounting, financial reporting, investor reporting, and fund operations for Real Estate investment funds. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in real estate fund structures, NAV reviews, valuations, treasury activities, and stakeholder management within an Asset Management setting.

Responsibilities

1. Lead fund accounting, NAV reviews, investor reporting, financial statements, audits, and regulatory reporting.
2. Oversee capital calls, distributions, treasury, liquidity, fund expenses, and management fee calculations.
3. Review real estate fund structures, property valuations, financial instruments, and fund accounting treatments.
4. Coordinate with fund administrators and internal stakeholders to ensure reporting accuracy, controls, and SLA adherence.
5. Drive process improvements, operational risk management, reporting transformation, and fund operations excellence.

Requirements

1. CA / ACCA / CPA / CMA or a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
2. 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably with 7+ years in Real Estate Funds, Alternative Investments, or Asset Management.
3. Strong knowledge of real estate fund accounting, NAV, investor reporting, fund operations, and investment structures.
4. Experience working with Asset Management firms; candidates from fund administrators may be considered if they are a strong fit.
5. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, strong analytical abilities, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
