About the Role

Mount Vista Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic project team. The selected candidate will be responsible for quantity estimation, cost control, BOQ preparation, billing, and commercial management of road and highway construction projects under EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) mode.

One of our upcoming projects is scheduled to commence in Karnataka. Candidates must be willing to relocate and work at the project location.

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Experience: 8 -15 yrs

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and verify detailed quantity estimates for road and highway construction works based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare, review, and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
- Analyze engineering drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents to determine project scope and quantities.
- Handle quantity estimation and measurement for highway projects executed under HAM and EPC contract models.
- Prepare and verify client bills, subcontractor bills, RA bills, and supporting measurement sheets.
- Monitor project quantities, budgets, and costs, and identify discrepancies or variations.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents, cost comparisons, and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with the planning, execution, engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate quantity tracking and cost control.
- Evaluate variations, extra items,



and deviations from the original scope of work.
- Maintain accurate records of measurements, BOQs, bills, quantity statements, and cost reports.
- Support contract administration, reconciliation of materials, and assessment of cost variations.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Prepare periodic quantity statements, progress reports, and cost reports for project management.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization while maintaining accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Relevant experience in quantity surveying, quantity estimation of road and highway construction projects.
- Practical experience in quantity estimation for EPC highway projects is essential.
- Good understanding of highway construction drawings, BOQs, specifications, measurements, and billing procedures.
- Working knowledge of RA billing, quantity reconciliation, variation statements, and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with AutoCAD and other quantity estimation or project management software will be an added advantage.
- Solid numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and diligence in quantity calculations and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Telugu – preferred.
- Hindi – preferred.
- English – preferred.
- Kannada – an added advantage.
