The Quality Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all dairy products meet company, regulatory, and customer quality and safety standards. This role involves overseeing testing protocols, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, conducting audits, and working closely with production and sanitation teams to uphold product integrity and food safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Quality Assurance &
- Control:

- Monitor and ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards (e.g., FSSAI, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP).

- Perform inspections and quality testing of raw milk, in-process, and finished products.

- Calibrate and maintain lab equipment to ensure accurate results.

- Documentation &

- Recordkeeping:

- Maintain accurate records of quality control checks, testing data, and corrective actions.

- Prepare and review SOPs, quality manuals, and compliance reports.

- Audits &

- Compliance:





- Assist in internal and external audits (regulatory and customer).

- Conduct routine plant and hygiene inspections.

- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances.

- Training &

- Support:

- Train production staff on hygiene, quality, and food safety standards.

- Support R&D; and recent product development from a quality perspective.

- Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities to improve product quality and process efficiency.

- Analyze quality trends and recommend changes to prevent defects.

Qualifications &

- Skills:

- Bachelor s degree in Dairy Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.

- 2-5 years of experience in a quality or lab role in the dairy or food processing industry.

- Strong knowledge of dairy quality standards, microbiological testing, and regulatory requirements.

- Familiarity with laboratory instruments (e.g., Bactoscan, milk analyzers, pH meters).

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory):

- HACCP Certification

- FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000 Lead Auditor
