Job Responsibilities

- Conduct chemical composition analysis of molten metal and castings using a spectrometer.
- Operate and maintain spectrometer equipment and ensure accurate test results.
- Perform mechanical testing of castings in the testing laboratory.
- Conduct hardness testing and other mechanical tests as per customer requirements.
- Maintain records of chemical analysis, mechanical testing and inspection results.
- Verify material grades and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to address material quality issues.
- Follow laboratory procedures,



safety standards and quality control practices.

Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in foundry quality control or a metallurgical testing laboratory.
- Practical knowledge of spectrometer operation and chemical analysis.
- Familiarity with mechanical testing equipment and hardness testing.
- Basic understanding of Grey Iron, Ductile Iron and material specifications.
- Ability to maintain accurate testing records and prepare reports.
