Core Responsibilities

- Incoming Material &
- Vendor Quality:

Inspect raw castings, impellers, shafts, seals, gaskets, and motor components. Audit external foundries and machining vendors for dimensional and metallurgical accuracy.

- In-Process &

- Line Quality Control:

Monitor machining, balancing, and sub-assembly stages. Check for casting defects, CNC tolerance compliance, and agile balancing of rotating parts.

- Final Testing &

- Performance Validation:

Oversee routine and type testing of pumps, including:

- Hydrostatic pressure testing

- Performance curve testing (flow, head, power, and efficiency)

- Vibration and noise level testing

- Leakage and seal testing

- Compliance &

- Documentation:

Maintain ISO 9001, CE, BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), or API standards (depending on whether the pumps are industrial, agricultural, or oil & gas).



Manage PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), COA (Certificate of Analysis), and material test certificates (MTC).

- CAPA &

- Defect Root Cause Analysis:

Lead investigations for field failures, customer complaints, and warranty claims.

Drive

Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to lower scrap rates and rejections.

- Team Leadership: Manage a team of quality engineers, shop-floor inspectors, and test-bench technicians. Drive continuous improvement frameworks like Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
