Sunkonnect Advisory Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a technically competent and detail-oriented PV Technology Consultant to conduct quality inspections, testing and quality assurance activities for solar photovoltaic (PV) modules at manufacturing facilities across India.

The role involves pre-dispatch inspections, in-line quality checks, verification of manufacturing processes, testing of PV modules and compliance assessments against applicable IEC/IS/UL standards, client specifications and quality requirements.

The candidate will work closely with manufacturers, quality assurance teams, suppliers and clients to identify non-conformities, prepare inspection reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively. This position requires solid analytical skills, attention to detail and a willingness to travel extensively to manufacturing sites across India.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Conduct Pre-Dispatch Inspections (PDI) and in-line quality inspections of solar PV modules at manufacturing facilities.
- Verify compliance of materials, components and finished products with client specifications, applicable industry standards and quality requirements.
- Perform or witness PV module inspection and testing activities, including Electroluminescence (EL) testing, IV curve testing, Hi-pot testing, wet leakage testing and mechanical load testing.
- Verify Bill of Materials (BOM) usage during production to ensure material traceability and compliance with approved specifications.
- Conduct sampling inspections, witness tests and apply appropriate statistical quality control methods.




- Prepare detailed inspection reports, document findings and maintain accurate inspection records.
- Identify and report non-conformities (NCs), track Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and verify closure of identified issues.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, quality assurance and supplier teams to resolve product and process quality issues.
- Verify the calibration status and suitability of inspection and testing equipment before use.
- Monitor manufacturing line environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity and cleanliness, wherever applicable.
- Support third-party inspections, customer inspections and client audits at manufacturing sites.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, standard operating procedures and applicable quality guidelines.
- Communicate inspection progress, observations and findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and recommend improvements in inspection processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated on relevant IEC, UL and IS standards and developments in solar PV technology.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- B.Tech / B.E. in any engineering specialization.




- 3-5 years of relevant experience in solar PV module manufacturing, inspection, quality assurance, quality control or testing.
- Working knowledge of solar PV module manufacturing processes and quality inspection procedures.
- Familiarity with PV module testing methods such as EL, IV curve, Hi-pot, wet leakage and mechanical load testing.
- Understanding of BOM verification, material traceability, sampling inspection and non-conformance management.
- Knowledge of relevant IEC/UL/IS standards and quality documentation practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with clients, manufacturers and internal teams.
- Adaptability to new technologies, processes and project requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Travel Requirements Extensive travel across India is mandatory.

The selected candidate must be comfortable travelling to solar PV module manufacturing facilities and project locations in different parts of India, as required by project assignments. Candidates unwilling to undertake frequent outstation travel should not apply.

Compensation & Benefits

- Salary budget: Up to 45,000 per month in-hand.
- Compensation will depend on relevant experience, technical expertise and suitability for the role.
- Fixed and variable components may apply, as per company policy.
