About the Role

We Five Hypermarket is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to manage purchasing activities for our Aloor branch. The candidate should have experience in procurement, supplier coordination, price negotiation, and inventory planning, preferably in the retail or hypermarket industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute purchasing activities based on store requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of products.
- Monitor purchase orders, invoices, stock levels, and delivery status.
- Coordinate with inventory, store operations, and accounts teams.
- Maintain accurate purchase records and documentation.
- Analyse product demand, stock movement,



and purchasing costs.
- Ensure purchases meet quality standards and company policies.
- Build and maintain effective supplier relationships.

Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; a qualification in supply chain management or business administration is an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a supermarket or hypermarket.
- Good negotiation, communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management, vendor management, and MS Excel.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
