Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive Purchase Executive with experience in procurement, current vendor development, and vendor management to ensure the timely availability of materials for production and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement processes. Support the service team with procurement-related requirements and visit manufacturing units as needed to coordinate with factory teams.
- New Vendor Development: Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors based on quality, cost, delivery timelines, and business requirements.
- Identifying Material Shortages:



Monitor inventory for potential shortages, coordinate with internal teams to meet material requirements, and expedite orders when required.
- Sending Enquiries and Obtaining Rates: Prepare and send enquiries to vendors, obtain quotations, compare rates, and negotiate competitive pricing and terms.
- Purchase Order Management: Prepare and issue accurate purchase orders, maintain purchase records, and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Invoice Management: Verify and process vendor invoices, coordinate with the finance team for payment release, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Procurement Coordination: Work closely with engineering, production, service, and finance teams to ensure materials and services are procured as per operational requirements.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in purchase, procurement, and new vendor development.
- Mandatory experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of vendor sourcing, negotiation, commercial terms, taxation, and purchasing documentation.
- Good communication, coordination, negotiation, and MS Office skills.
