Roles & Responsibilities Procurement & Planning

Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

Plan procurement activities in alignment with production and operational requirements.

Maintain optimum inventory levels while avoiding excess or shortage.

Vendor Development & Management

Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers/vendors.

Build and maintain strong vendor relationships for long-term business partnerships.

Monitor vendor performance, including delivery, quality, and compliance.

Price Negotiation & Cost Control

Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency.

Conduct comparative analysis to ensure value for money.

Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings.

Import & Export Purchase

Handle domestic and international procurement activities, including import and export purchases.

Prepare and maintain import-export documentation such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin, and other shipping documents.

Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, shipping agents, and logistics partners for timely customs clearance and delivery.

Negotiate rates, payment terms, freight costs, and commercial terms with domestic and international vendors.

Prepare comparative statements, conduct rate analysis,



and ensure cost-effective procurement.

Ensure compliance with import-export regulations, statutory requirements, and company procurement policies.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain accurate procurement records in line with company policies.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and organizational procedures.

Coordinate with finance for timely payments and reconciliation.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with production, quality, accounts, and other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Support audit requirements by providing necessary procurement records.

Systems & Reporting

Work on ERP platforms like SAP/Tally for purchase order processing.

Prepare reports and presentations using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Present monthly updates on procurement activities and vendor performance to management

Education and Experience

Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience in procurement/purchase within a manufacturing setup (dental/medical devices preferred).

Hands-on experience with SAP, Tally, and MS Office tools.

Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication.
