Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and strategic PR Manager – BFSI to lead public relations initiatives for clients across the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance sector. The ideal candidate should have robust media relationships, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and execute integrated PR strategies that enhance brand visibility and corporate reputation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategic PR and media relations plans for BFSI clients, including banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, fintech brands, and other financial services organisations.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with business, financial, and industry journalists across print, digital, and electronic media.
- Drive proactive media engagement through press releases, media pitches, interviews, thought leadership articles, and expert commentary.
- Identify news opportunities, industry trends, and relevant story angles to secure high-quality media coverage.
- Manage client relationships, understand business objectives, and provide strategic communication counsel.
- Lead spokesperson profiling, media interactions, interviews, press conferences,



and other communication initiatives.
- Oversee the preparation of media plans, coverage reports, campaign evaluations, and communication presentations.
- Monitor BFSI industry developments, regulatory changes, market trends, and competitor activities to identify communication opportunities.
- Manage crisis communication and reputation management initiatives, as required.
- Guide and mentor team members, ensuring quality deliverables, timely execution, and effective account management.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless execution of PR campaigns and achievement of communication objectives.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

- 4–6 years of experience in public relations, preferably with a PR agency handling BFSI accounts.
- Strong understanding of the banking, financial services, insurance, fintech, and broader financial ecosystem.
- Established relationships with business and financial media across key publications and platforms.
- Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and client management skills.
- Proven ability to develop PR strategies, manage multiple accounts, and deliver measurable media outcomes.
- Strong team management, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
