Namaste The Vedritam Group (formerly DAV Group) - Chennai was established in 1970 at Gopalapuram, Chennai, with just 50 students. In this context, we are looking for a qualified, enthusiastic, and dedicated PRT – EVS for Vedritam Vidyalaya Dholera, Gujarat (CBSE Board). The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, good communication skills, effective teaching abilities, and a passion for nurturing students' learning and overall development.

Job Summary The Primary Teacher – EVS will be responsible for introducing students to environmental awareness, nature, family, community, health, and the world around them through interactive lessons, practical activities, and experiential learning.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver EVS lessons in accordance with the applicable CBSE curriculum.
- Teach age-appropriate concepts related to nature, the workplace, health, hygiene, and community life.
- Encourage observation, exploration, questioning, and critical thinking.
- Conduct projects, experiments, nature activities, and classroom discussions.




- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, and assessments.
- Promote environmental awareness, cleanliness, sustainability, and responsible habits.
- Monitor student progress and maintain academic records.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Communicate with parents regarding student development and learning progress.
- Participate in school activities, staff meetings, and teacher training programmes.

Experience & Skills

- Relevant primary teaching experience is preferred.
- Experience in a CBSE-affiliated school will be an added advantage.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
- Creativity and the ability to connect lessons with real-life experiences.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital teaching tools.

Educational qualification

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification, as applicable.
- Knowledge of primary-level EVS concepts and activity-based teaching methods.

Salary shall commensurate with experience Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
