We specialize in developing, manufacturing, assembling, installing, and commissioning packaging machines for various industries. We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Project Manager to lead project execution, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality machinery solutions.

Job Summary The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing packaging machinery and industrial automation projects from design and manufacturing through assembly, testing, installation, and commissioning. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical systems, PLC-based automation, and machinery manufacturing, along with proven project management experience in a similar machinery or industrial automation environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Project Planning and Execution

Plan, schedule, execute, and monitor packaging machinery and automation projects from initiation to final commissioning.

Prepare project timelines, resource plans, milestones, and delivery schedules.

Ensure projects are completed within the agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Monitor project progress and take corrective action to resolve delays and technical issues.

- Technical Coordination – Mechanical, Electrical & Automation

Coordinate mechanical design, electrical design, PLC programming, HMI development, and automation activities.

Understand machine drawings, mechanical assemblies, electrical schematics, pneumatic systems, and automation layouts.

Oversee machine fabrication, machining, assembly, wiring, programming, testing, and troubleshooting.

Coordinate with design engineers and technical teams to ensure machine functionality and performance.

Review technical requirements and ensure that machines meet customer specifications.

- Team Management

Manage and coordinate mechanical design engineers,



electrical engineers, PLC programmers, technicians, production staff, and service engineers.

Allocate tasks, monitor team performance, and ensure effective communication between departments.

Conduct project review meetings and follow up on pending activities.

Support team members in resolving technical and operational challenges.

- Production and Quality Control

Coordinate with production, purchase, stores, and quality teams to ensure the availability of materials and components.

Monitor manufacturing and assembly progress against project schedules.

Ensure proper machine testing, quality inspection, and performance validation before dispatch.

Identify project risks, material shortages, and manufacturing bottlenecks.

- Customer Coordination and Site Activities

Understand customer requirements and coordinate technical discussions.

Manage factory acceptance testing (FAT), installation, commissioning, and site acceptance testing (SAT).

Coordinate with customers regarding project progress, technical clarifications, and delivery commitments.

Ensure successful machine handover, documentation, and customer satisfaction.

- Cost and Documentation Management

Monitor project costs, resource utilization, and budget performance.

Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of critical components.

Maintain project schedules, progress reports, risk registers, and technical documentation.

Prepare regular project status reports for management.

Required Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.

Candidates with a relevant Diploma and strong, demonstrable project management experience may also be considered.

Required Experience

5–10 years of experience in project management, project execution, or engineering coordination in the packaging machinery, special-purpose machinery (SPM), industrial automation, or machine manufacturing industry.





Experience managing projects involving mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.

Hands-on exposure to machine manufacturing, assembly, testing, installation, or commissioning.

Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and production teams.

Technical Skills

Good knowledge of mechanical engineering, machine design, fabrication, and assembly.

Working knowledge of electrical panels, industrial wiring, motors, drives, and sensors.

Understanding of PLC programming, HMI, automation systems, and industrial control systems.

Knowledge of pneumatic systems and machine troubleshooting.

Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications.

Familiarity with project planning tools, MS Excel, MS Project, or similar project management software.

Packaging machinery manufacturing and automation.

Filling, sealing, pouch packing, flow wrapping, and powder or granule packing machines.

Special-purpose machinery and automated production lines.

PLC-controlled machines, material handling systems, and industrial automation projects.
