Role Summary The Multi-Station Project Manager is responsible for leading field operations across a designated cluster of 3 to 6 Western Railway stations in the Mumbai Division (e.g., South Cluster: CCG, MMCT, DDR; or Terminus/Suburban Cluster: BDTS, ADH, BVI). The role ensures 100% operational uptime, contract compliance with Western Railway guidelines, high customer satisfaction, and zero penalty risks across all cluster stations.

Key Responsibilities

- Cluster Operational Management

· Lead daily operations across all assigned cluster stations, ensuring seamless coordination between Shift Supervisors and Station Porters.

· Maintain optimum staffing rosters for 2-shift coverage (Shift A: 06:00–14:30 | Shift B: 14:30–23:00 + nocturnal on-call emergency coverage).

· Monitor order fulfillment response times, ensuring porters reach designated booking points within the stipulated 30-minute pre-arrival/departure window.

· Oversee station equipment allocation, ensuring airport-type luggage trolleys/handcarts are well-maintained and stabled within the allotted 30 sq. ft. free station space.

- Railway Liaison & Contract Compliance

· Function as the primary operational liaison with Station Superintendents (SS), Station Managers (SM), and Divisional Railway Officials (Sr. DCM office).

· Ensure strict adherence to all clauses of the Western Railway "Porter on Call" Special Conditions of Contract.

· Rapidly investigate and resolve any station-level operational grievances,



preventing escalations that could attract Railway penalties (up to ₹10,000 per violation).

· Coordinate periodic station inspections with Railway officials and execute immediate corrective actions where necessary.

- Statutory Compliance & Workforce Governance

· Ensure 100% of cluster porters hold valid Police Verification Certificates and Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP) Fitness Certificates.

· Manage the issuance and renewal of company ID cards countersigned by the Station Manager/Superintendent.

· Verify full compliance with labor regulations, including the Contract Labour Act, Minimum Wages Act, and Workmen’s Compensation Act.

- Performance Tracking & Admin Portal Oversight

· Utilize the Admin Portal to review live bookings, monitor commission/rate structures, and assign tasks across shift supervisors.

· Monitor daily cluster KPIs, generate station-wise fulfillment reports, and submit weekly analytical summaries to the Project Director.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

· Education: Graduate in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or related field.

· Experience: 5+ years of experience in field operations, logistics management, transportation, or ground facility management (experience in Railway/Airport operations is highly preferred).

· Skills: Robust leadership, operational crisis management, stakeholder liaison, familiarity with mobile admin portals/CRMs, and proficiency in Hindi, English, and Marathi.
