Job Summary

We are looking for a versatile and experienced Production Head with 2 to 5 years of experience who has comprehensive knowledge of both CNC/VMC automation and Conventional/Manual machines (Lathe, Drilling, Milling, Tapping). The ideal candidate will manage the entire shop floor, optimize machine usage, handle workers, and ensure high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

- Production Planning & Execution: Plan and supervise daily production on CNC, VMC, and conventional manual machine lines.
- Manpower Management: Supervise and allocate work to CNC/VMC operators, manual machinists (lathe/drilling/milling operators), and helpers.
- Multi-Machine Oversight: Oversee secondary and finishing operations like conventional drilling, tapping, manual milling, and turning alongside automated machining.
- Machine Utilization & Maintenance: Maximize machine runtime and ensure proper maintenance of both CNC/VMC systems and manual mechanical parts.
- Quality Assurance: Check components using precision instruments to reduce rejection rates on all types of machines.
- Reporting: Maintain and submit Daily Production Reports (DPR) to management.

Technical Skills & Requirements
- Manual Machining Expertise: Strong operational and troubleshooting knowledge of Lathe, Drilling, Milling, and Tapping machines.
- CNC/VMC Knowledge: Practical understanding of machine setting, tool offset, G-codes/M-codes, and control systems (Fanuc, Siemens,



etc.).
- Blueprints & Metrology: Expert in reading engineering 2D/3D drawings. Proficient with Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and Height Gauges.
- Tooling Selection: Knowledge of selecting correct tools and inserts for both manual and CNC operations depending on the metal type.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of core experience in a combined CNC/VMC and conventional manual machining workshop.
- Salary Range: ₹18,000 to ₹30,000 per month (Based on interview performance).
