Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organise, and supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets and meet customer demand.

- Oversee the manufacturing and processing of milk and other dairy products, ensuring consistent quality and operational efficiency.

- Prepare production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, raw material availability, and dispatch requirements.

- Monitor production processes, equipment utilisation, plant capacity, and overall operational performance.

- Coordinate with procurement, quality control, engineering and maintenance, packaging, stores, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth plant operations.

- Ensure compliance with applicable FSSAI regulations, food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and the company's quality management procedures.

- Monitor raw milk utilisation, product yield, material consumption, wastage, and production costs to improve profitability.

- Implement measures to reduce production losses, minimise downtime, improve productivity, and optimise resource utilisation.

- Supervise and guide production supervisors, operators, technicians, and other production personnel.

- Ensure adequate manpower allocation, shift planning, attendance monitoring, and workforce discipline.

- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities with the engineering team to minimise equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.

- Monitor critical processing parameters,



including temperature, processing time, chilling conditions, and other product-specific requirements.

- Maintain production reports, batch records, material consumption statements, downtime reports, and other operational documentation.

- Investigate production deviations, quality complaints, process inefficiencies, and recurring operational issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Ensure proper cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of production areas and equipment in accordance with established hygiene procedures.

- Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, food safety assessments, and implementation of corrective actions.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement, energy efficiency, cost reduction, and increased production capacity.

- Provide regular reports to management on production performance, operational challenges, resource utilisation, and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Food Processing, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.

- Candidates with a relevant postgraduate qualification or specialised training in dairy processing and production management will have an added advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
