About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Manager to own the end-to-end delivery of technology products across web, mobile and enterprise platforms.

The role will work closely with business stakeholders, internal engineering teams and external technology vendors, translating business requirements into clear technical scope and driving execution through development, testing, release and post-production support.

This is a hands-on technology delivery and product ownership role, focused on execution, technical oversight, stakeholder management and delivery governance rather than people management or enterprise architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Program & Delivery Management

- Own technology initiatives end-to-end, including scope, milestones, dependencies, resourcing and release timelines.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming and release cycles with internal engineering and external vendor teams.
- Identify and proactively escalate risks, blockers and dependencies.
- Maintain delivery dashboards and provide regular reporting to leadership.
- Manage multiple technology initiatives simultaneously while maintaining solid governance and delivery discipline.

2. Requirements & Product Ownership
- Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria and technical specifications.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business priorities.
- Balance and communicate trade-offs between scope, timelines and technical debt.
- Define release success metrics and track product adoption and business impact after go-live.
- Lead UAT, defect triage, business sign-off and post-release support.
- Demonstrate the ability to challenge requirements and understand/reframe the underlying business problem.

3. Technical Oversight
- Review technical designs with a focus on scalability, security, performance and maintainability.
- Identify technical deviations and escalate them appropriately.
- Coordinate API design, system integrations and data flows across internal and third-party platforms.
- Support build-vs-buy decisions and vendor selection through structured technical evaluation.
- Maintain technical documentation, integration maps and environment inventories.

4. Cloud, DevOps & Release Management
- Coordinate application deployments and releases across cloud environments.
- Work with engineering teams on CI/CD pipelines, environment management and release governance.
- Own mobile application release cycles, version management and app-store compliance.
- Monitor application uptime, crash analytics and production incidents.
- Drive root-cause analysis and ensure production issues are closed effectively.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as the key interface between business teams and technology delivery teams.
- Manage external vendors against SOW scope, milestones, acceptance criteria and SLAs.
- Handle vendor escalations and ensure delivery commitments are met.
- Guide developers, QA teams and vendor resources on delivery standards.
- Present program status, key risks, decisions and dependencies to senior leadership.

Technical Skills & Expertise The ideal candidate should have strong depth in at least one technology stack along with hands-on exposure to cloud, DevOps and release management. Depth and practical experience are more important than having broad exposure to every technology listed below.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

- 5–7 years of experience in technology delivery, with 2–3 years of independently managing technology programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- Hands-on development background is preferred.
- Proven experience delivering at least one large enterprise platform or customer-facing application end-to-end.
- Ability to understand,



review and challenge technical designs without necessarily writing production code.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments, including backlog management and sprint governance.
- Experience managing external technology vendors or system integrators.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare requirements documents, status reports and escalation notes.

Preferred

- Product Management / Product Ownership experience, including roadmap ownership, prioritization based on business outcomes or user discovery.
- Experience with consumer-facing mobile applications and app-store release cycles.
- Experience in real estate, hospitality or other asset-heavy, operations-intensive industries.
- Relevant certifications such as:

- AWS Associate-level certification
- Azure Associate-level certification.
