About SleekSky

SleekSky builds and runs software for clients who want to scale their technology without heavy overhead: dedicated teams, a startup-inspired culture, and a bias for agility, ownership, and continuous improvement. We combine skilled depth with real room to learn, decide, and build things that last.

The role

Most design roles hand you one surface: the app, or the campaigns, or the packaging. This one hands you all of them, for one brand, and the words besides.

You’d be the designer for a US healthcare client that sells at-home health tests. Somebody scrolls past dozens of tests on the biggest online marketplaces, or stands in front of a pharmacy shelf, and picks theirs. At home they open the box and follow the instructions alone, perhaps in their second language, perhaps hoping nobody noticed what arrived.

A few days later they see their result on a screen. The same tests reach other people through their health plan, their doctor or a free public health programme, and each of those buyers needs material of its own. Every one of those is design work, and all of it is one brand.

It’s about 70% product and 30% brand and communication design. The product work covers the app where people register a kit and see their results, and the portals used by doctors’ offices, health plans and partners. The brand and communication work covers packaging, product listings, the website, campaigns, sales material, and the words in texts, emails and letters. It’s wide on purpose, and you run your own queue.

What you’ll own

- The product’s screens. Flows engineering can build from without guessing, and the research behind them.
- The brand, wherever it lands.

For people buying a test for themselves and for the organisations buying thousands, including where a pharmacy chain or a health plan puts its name beside it.
- The box and the listing. Packaging that works on a shelf and as a thumbnail, product pages and brand stores on online marketplaces, product imagery and in-store material.
- Everything inside the box, and everything posted. Instructions for use, inserts, letters and collateral. All of it production-ready, checked against the proof, in English and Spanish and increasingly Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese.
- The words, not only the pictures. Texts, emails, letters and call scripts, written plainly and taken through legal and clinical review. You don’t need to be a copywriter; you do need to care whether a sentence works.
- The website, the campaigns and the material that sells. Pages you build and publish yourself and consumer campaigns.

Also the decks and one-pagers that sell programmes to health plans, doctors, public health agencies and pharma partners. Motion where it explains something faster than a paragraph.

- The design system and the files. One library and one set of templates, kept in shared company accounts and usable by people who aren’t designers.

What you’ll bring

- 4+ years designing for real audiences (in-house, studio or agency) across more than one brand or industry.
- A portfolio across mediums: at least one product flow, and at least one piece that went to print or into a box, with enough process to show how you got there.
- Excellent typography, colour, layout and composition, and extremely high attention to detail.
- Words you’d put your name to: plain, short, and written for people who didn’t ask to hear from us.
- Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, and a website builder you can publish with yourself.
- AI tools where they genuinely help, and a clear sense of what health information must never go into one.
- The habit of running several projects for several people with minimal oversight, and saying clearly what comes first.
- The ability to present and explain your decisions to people who aren’t designers, in writing and on a call.

Nice to have

- Big pluses: packaging and e-commerce work (product pages, brand stores, product imagery) and animation.
- Also helpful: illustration, healthcare or regulated-industry design, multilingual layout, and experience with printers or translators.
- The domain we’ll teach you. It takes weeks, not months.

Who this isn’t for

This role isn’t a fit if you:

- Want only screens or only print.
- Need a creative director to set every brief.
- Would rather not write.
- Find production work (resizing, listing images, translations, reprints) beneath you.

Details

- Remote, India · Full-time
- Some overlap with US Pacific hours
- Preference for candidates who can join within 30 days
