Responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and ensuring the timely availability of food raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and other required supplies while maintaining quality standards, cost efficiency, and supplier relationships.

- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors for food products, raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials.

- Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, credit periods, and delivery schedules.

- Prepare and process purchase orders as per approved requirements and budgets.

- Coordinate with the production, quality control, warehouse, and accounts departments.

- Ensure purchased materials meet food safety, quality, and specification requirements.

- Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, pricing trends, and market availability.





- Maintain optimum inventory levels and avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.

- Verify supplier invoices, delivery challans, purchase orders, and supporting documents.

- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase reports.

- Monitor expiry dates, shelf life, batch details, and storage requirements for perishable food materials.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality.
