About the Role

IVY World School, Jalandhar, is seeking a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic Pre-Primary Teacher to create a joyful, engaging, and child-friendly learning environment. The ideal candidate should understand early childhood education and be committed to the overall development of young learners.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons for Nursery, LKG, and UKG students.
- Conduct engaging activities using storytelling, rhymes, games, art, craft, and play-based learning.
- Create a secure, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Promote children’s language, numeracy, creativity, and social-emotional development.
- Monitor students’ progress and maintain assessment records.
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, independence, and teamwork.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ progress.
- Prepare teaching aids, worksheets, and classroom learning materials.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, staff meetings, and training sessions.
- Follow school policies, curriculum guidelines,



and child-safety practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- B.Ed., Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
- Knowledge of early childhood teaching methodologies and activity-based learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with young children.
- Strong classroom management and organizational abilities.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital teaching tools will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Relevant experience in pre-primary teaching will be preferred.
- A warm, positive, and child-centred approach to teaching.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school management.

Salary & Benefits Monthly Salary: ₹25,000–₹28,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
