Job Summary

Orchids The International School is seeking a passionate, creative, and nurturing Pre-Primary Teacher to join our Hinjewadi Phase 3 (Ghotawade, Pune) campus. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a protected, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the holistic growth of young learners.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
- Foster a warm, caring, and stimulating classroom environment for pre-primary students.
- Encourage learning through play, storytelling, music, art, and hands-on activities.
- Observe, assess, and document students academic, social, and emotional development.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and well-being.
- Ensure classroom safety, hygiene, and discipline at all times.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and school leadership.
- Participate actively in school events, trainings, workshops, and meetings.
- Support students with individual learning needs using appropriate strategies.

Required Qualifications





- Diploma / Certificate in Early Childhood Education (ECCEd / D.Ed / NTT / Montessori) OR
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline with relevant early childhood training.

Experience

- 1 to 3 years of teaching experience in pre-primary or kindergarten preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching may also apply.

- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).

- Creative teaching methods and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage young learners effectively.
